Silver tongue

I fell in love
With a silver tongue
Stripping me of poison
Then leaving behind the pain

It writes me letters
Written in blood
Surrounding my sorrows
Leaving no where else so run

I fell into prison
With a tiny blade
Stripping me of happiness
Then kissing me with pain

It draws me pictures
Withered in red
Surrounding my sorrows
Leaving me for dead

I'm held with shackles
With only my mind
Surrendering myself
Then sitting with time

In that time
Weeping In agony
So far from hope
Letting it end in tragedy

I fell In love
With a silver tongue
The poison has left
But my minds only begun

I know this well. I only go with people's ACTIONS now. they speak louder than words. I like this poem very much!
Tony Anderson commented:
Great write and true. There are to many people who act this way.
