Set me Free
Independence is an emotion,
a feeling deep with in,
each one has different meaning, of the same word,
that's the saga being sung by whole world.
some are striving for financial freedom,
some are already independent,
some are fighting for basic rights,
some are enjoying their plight,
independence is to be privileged,
to get the respect back, that's been sabotaged,
why to mope? rather, set me free, and give me some hope..
Hope to touch the sky, and fly like a bird,
fill my lungs with breath of happiness,
agitated with society's hollow taboos, baseless norms,
life is short, I want to be free to choose happiness in any form!
