Are fireworks 'Crackers'

When I was younger fireworks were fun,
But as I got older those days were gone,
Roaring fires such joy and games
Baking potatoes in white-hot flames,
In later years It came to my mind
that not all life is of the humankind,
What about animals that quiver and shake
they tremble and cry at the noise that they make
No... I am no killjoy, let that be known
but the poor none humans shake to the bone
so don't throw them about, as some people do,
If you were none human you would hate them too,
Can they make them less noisy, more sparkle, less sound?
Would that not help all none humans around,?
So give them some thought so that they do not mither
and of course, there are humans that don't like them either....

Likewise, Frank, our Finnegan is nine months old and maybe, just maybe, we can get him to ignore them, they never bothered our last dog
