REAL LOVE...

poem by: Frank Hornby .
Written on Oct 06, 2021

"As I sat all alone in the hospital chair...
I was embraced by my loved ones...all saying that they care...
The messages of love...thick, and fast, to me they came..
overwhelming me with their love...they all said the same...
I felt them all...sitting right there by my side...
..with a mask hiding my face...the tears I just couldn't hide....
"Don't worry Grandad "...."everything will be alright"....
"We love you dad"...and loving words from My Opal..helped me deal with my plight.
Though sitting all by myself....I was not on my own...
..my family was with me...showing the real love that I'd known."
