Daylight

Daylight.
Some mornings it comes up when it shouldn’t.
Some mornings it won’t come up quick enough.
Bathe in it.
Run from it.
Love it, as I love myself.
Hate it, as I hate myself.
My best friend and my worst enemy.

If it wasn’t for imagination, I’d be screwed.
If it wasn’t for imagination, I’d be just fine in this daylight.
