I was living a lie
I was, trying to survive
Because, I thought you were mine
And love, love led me blind
And I, I fell far behind

I believed every word you said
Didn't know the truth
Couldn't get it around my head
Never suspected
It was all unexpected

I should've known better

Can't predict the stormy weather

Didn't see that we'd sever, and say good bye

I thought it was forever

I see, I made a mistake
It was all, it was all too late
And too much, too much to take
I had to meet, had to meet my fate
Then you went, you went away
