Reality.

poem by: D'Vina Dietrich
Written on Apr 02, 2015

As a kid there was hopes and dreams.
Growing up, they have vanished.
Having to face the harsh reality of life.
Realizing how sad this world is,
Becoming sad with it.
There is no hope.

Milton Robertson commented:
There's always Hope. Life is hard and this is why I had to turn to the Lord. It's all up to you. Now you can stay in your own private Hell, or you can look to the sky and Excel. It's all up to you. So whatcha gona do?
Q. Ramirez commented:
Hang in there prima, you are still so young. Very deep for someone that looks very young. I like it because I felt the same probably at your age.
Christopher Russon commented:
Life is a hard teacher even a cruel teacher. But lessons can be learned from life. And always remember.there is always a helping hand.just ask him.
Sun Chaser commented:
Yes I feel your words. It's true as children we see life so different, with so much hope. Now I also find what you said, that hard reality has changed that. It's a hard road indeed and there is no end to disappointment. Keep your chin up! There are good things and they will return, even though at times it doesn't feel that way. I definatly felt your words, you really captured the feelings!

When you run happily towards life and it punches you square in the face. That is ... when you grow up.
