Believe it or not...

Across the quiet and darkened bar, she notices someone staring at her while she’s enjoying an ice, cold beer. She keeps herself busy with writing a new story, yet continues to glance in the direction of the pony tail, stranger. She finds herself mesmerized with curiosity as to why he won’t leave the table where he’s been sitting at for such a long time.

The bar tender approaches her secluded table and asks if she’d like a refill. “Yes I would, and while you’re topping that glass for me, I’d like to send something to that man in the corner. He appears to be unhappy and lonely.” The bartender is confused to the young woman’s response, and replies to her with a shocking observation. “Miss, I’m not quite sure how to oblige your request, when you and I are the only ones here.”
