With my son

My son its getting late
I'm sorry I've been doubtful but
These hospitals won't determine your fate
You will play just as hard as your siblings
Take care of her my son
Daddy can only ponder on what's going on
Daddy can only stare at the sky and count another day thats gone by
Daddy wishes he could turn into a fly
Your mommy thinks daddy is a little something along the lines of a spy
Just buzz buzz and sit right next to you
Buzz buzz in any doctors face who tries to give mommy news that will make her cry
Buzz buzz in anyone's face so they go away
Isn't it crazy son I can protect you more
As a fly?
All daddy can do is prepare for the worst and cry
Daddy is scared he won't lie
Daddies favorite time of the day is calling
They don't tell daddy much but it keeps me from falling. Daddy listens really hard maybe the nurse is close to you maybe daddy can steal just one coo from you.... just one laugh from the curly hair and deep brown eyes. Daddy is just preparing for the worst he is used to bad news
He has heard it all his life
Whats a daddy who can't even keep a wife. What's a daddy who has to slowly watch the decline of his sons life..... what's a daddy who can't even watch a daddy who can only be told what you are doing over the phone. A daddy who only knows how bad the news over a nervous staff members tone. I miss you son. You and your plus one.

Beats

Your beats don't match mine or hers Yours like to beat in not twos but thirds We knew you'd struggle we wanted you no matter what we heard. Daddies weight is low sometimes words get a little slurd. Its hard keeping stuff down dad... Read more
