Dragon's Treasure

poem by: Rhys Thomas
Written on Jan 08, 2021

Dragon's treasure is not what you think
It's not what has been scrawled down in ink
But something more precious by far
Than the yolk of a fallen star

You shall not harm Dragon's treasure
For they have in place a countermeasure
Stay. Get away from the door
Listen. Hear Dragon's Roar

They tell you get away
Why do you come to slay?
See Dragon's flame
You should have never came

"What know you of Dragon's treasure?"
Dragon's treasure did not fall from above
They love their people
