NOT FAR FROM HOME MELODY OF THE BIRDS

Home for them is a nest for two
Two turtle doves living in a shoe
A Sparrow knock upon their door
Saying good folks I am going to war

The birds chuckle with much delight
Saying to Sparrow war that’s not right
Friend you seems hungry here take a bite
And look at the world its black and white

Little Sparrow got mad and flew away
Saying to himself I’ll try another day
These two just don’t get it to just say
Its hunger that made me come their way
