Changing of the Season

poem by: Rhys Thomas
Written on Oct 05, 2020

Two years ago, I was masquerading at the ball of the season.
This year I wear a mask for a very different reason
I danced with my friend, the wonderful Margot
That dance could be awkward from six feet apart though.
We had so much fun, I remember it well
But this year, 2020 - it feels like hell
