The girl i cant love 1 rainstorms

She was laying face up. 
Eyes wide open.
The rain washed over her. 
I asked her why
Are you trying to drown?
She said the sky
Has fallen down on her.

She lets out a laugh
That roars like the rolling thunder

Her eyes meet mine. 
They twinkle with knowledge

As if she knew 
The gods were on their way.
