God Told Me

GOD TOLD ME TO TELL YOU

God said to me "Sit down Kenneth",
No need for you to walk.
Its time we got together,
And had a talk,

It seems you're having trouble,
Hearing what I say,
That is why I thought,
We'd have this talk today.

Yes, its true, I've seen you,
Down upon your knees,
I know that you are truthful,
When you Pray to Me.

But through the day you forget me,
As though I don't exist,
You forget that I can see you,
Through the darkness, light or mist.

You've seen all die around you,
And know that you will too.
But it appears that doesn't matter,
From the things I see you do.

This is not your purpose,
You are not here for that,
My Son will soon be coming.
"What do you say to that?"

We will not have this talk again,
I'm giving you a break,
Heed the words I'm saying,
Heed them for your sake.

Let all that come in contact,
Hear what I have said,
Your Life can be eternal,
Or be finished when you're dead.

Remember, theres no telling,
Which day will be your last,
Change the way you're living,
And change it pretty fast.

A marvelous poem of reflection; no matter what, He is still watching over us; finding one's purpose can be challenging - and so we need to listen to Him; nicely done! -Joe Breunig, Reaching Towards His Unbounded Glory

That's a beautiful poem man, Thanks for sharing. It really is convicting, As a fellow Christian, I have to ask myself if I TRULY believe in the omnipresence of God... I do, but my actions sometimes contradict my beliefs lol.
