Wake Up

poem by: Alice Inwonderland
Written on Oct 18, 2019

Wake up, tick tock, tock tick...
Fate has set a date for you.
The twisted hand of time, has but a frivolous rhyme,
Young at heart will not matter when it catches you,
By the water’s trickle, perhaps…
By the water’s edge.

No matter your fathom, no matter your wiring,
Clocked into the chime of the hand of time,
Settle your mind,
Scream from the heavens!
No matter your disposition.

Rain, rain, rain,
Shine, shine, shine.
How the hand of chime,
Does pluck your time.

Tick Tock, Tock tick…
Creeping backwards, thoughts replace you,
A spider spinning its web on your face,
As you sleep.

Wake up.
Tick, tock, tock tick…
Your hand is growing harder,
Your face will not see much longer,
Wake up, tick tock, tock tick.
