MY BLEEDING HEART

While circumstance continues with no change . Mind wanders to places yet to be seen. Giving but having no one to blame.

Outside forces sending thoughts unclean. Feeling as if I’m going to the only choice. Remains to be seen.

Too much time has fluttered by. In my mind I just can’t figure out. The answer why.

Reasoning behind the actions. Like a stranger. Knowing nothing. Having a care? No, not I.

Just like the thorne’s duty on a vine. With their inner roses. Blooming so beautifully.

A protector for them in and out of their prime. A job once given. Never can be denied.

Love I thought. It just had to be. Never in a million years. Could I would I fathom?

Hate was the answer that I’d see.
Once inside the settled dust. Was the sticky truth of disgust.

Now its past the point of no return. Just like the ambers of our love. In the flame. It is now gone. All that can be done. Is to watch it burn.

Ashes streaming overhead. Looking in the distance. They bellow to the ground. The feelings have no life. They are dead.

No more life to be found. What a pity. My heart for the last time. It has bled.
