Living for God 24/7
Lord help us to remember to be a follower of you.
We must worship you daily, right the whole week through!
From the moment that you wake us, until we then lay down at night to sleep.
Throughout the day we should talk to you and try your commands to keep.
In the morning as you wake us, before we make the bed,
Let us be reminded, to you we should bow our head.
Throughout the night you sustain us and wake us day by day.
Before we leave the house each day, our requests to you we should pray.
As we travel daily to were we need to be,
We must remember no matter what we do, we cannot hide from thee!
You watch over us each moment and gave the world the gift of life.
Who is always there for us in our times of joy and strife?
When we arrive at work or school, help us to take you there too!
May our light shine to those we meet, so that we can glorify you!
A kind word can bring cheer to the day and mean so much to man.
Help us to be good messengers, to fulfil your wonderful plan.
As we go shopping help us to take heed.
To share and spare a thought for those who we may know are in need
Help us to be content with what we have, free from all greed.
To trust in god's great promise, to never leave and provide for all we need.
During our meals when we have food and drink.
Who provides all of this maybe now we can think?
God gives us our daily bread, which man cannot live from alone,
But we can live by every word from god as we strive towards His great throne
Within our family life, the centre place for you should be preserved.
The bible clearly says, this day who do you and your household serve?
Within our leisure time we should also see,
That all the enjoyment that we need comes from thee!
Help us to listen to our parents ,thier teaching and commands.
This also is part of our transforming, to live as you had planned.
So then at last, as we lay down to sleep at night in our bed
We know that you are with us, watching over our head.
We know that you care for us, no matter what we do,
But help us to always, make time and pray to you.
We sin in our lives 24 hours a day...
So why then can we not find the time to pray?
To live for you each moment of our lives, should be our first thought.
So help us in all our daily tasks, to remember what we have been taught.
Its not just for one day, to sing and talk to you.
It must be 24/7 to live fully for you!
