The headmaster

poem by: Andrew Shepherd

The school as a rule
Has a headmaster
Who’s a fool
He’s loud and he’s aggressive
And at times
A manic depressive
Deranged he seems to me
As he jogs upstairs
With a cup of tea
This man is clearly insane
As my palms sting
From a swish from his cane
I hate rugby under a cold wet sky
Then I get even angrier
When his sports car shuttles by
I hope and pray that he has a crash
A large gargantuan tree
Then his sports car and then smash
The school under new rule
Had a headmaster
Who was a fool
