Self Proclaimed Messiah

poem by: Andrew Shepherd

There you go again
Pretending to inspire
Lord of all the charlatans
The self proclaimed messiah
Talking liberal rubbish
Preaching to the poor
Telling them to keep belief
From inside your Audi door
Hit hard and then pray
Thats the dirt you preach
Kids are making you money
Your just a parasite and a leech
Stood on your gold plated soapbox
An underworld tainted evangelist
Delivering purile views on the world
Who’s next on your devils list
Maybe I just don’t understand it
Are you deep down an honest man
I don’t quite see it myself
Self proclaimed messiah I’m not a fan
