A home for the broken

A home for the broken
Full of potential
Vacuum sucks joy
Tears taste like expired milk

Lust more powerful than love
Full of pain
Drugs in the bloodstream
Sex smells like shame

Boy meets Girl
Full of anger
Changes her life
Love smells like fear

Girl meets Boy
Full of trust issues
Changes his life
Love smells like emotions galore

We come from a broken home
Full of potential
You are my vacuum
My tears taste like expired milk that you spilled

Lonely next to you, lonely without
Toxic Lust, is that us?
You run into my inner peace
Please become my inner peace

Kisses on my inner thigh
Shame in my eyes
Moans that ease our pain
A train wreck
An angry man
A shallow line between love and lust

You are the happiest when my lips are shut
Thighs are open, chest is bare.
This should be a love letter
	But instead

We come from a broken home
Full of potential
Vacuum sucks joy
Tears taste like expired milk

Two different souls
Two different baggages
Carry mine and I’ll carry yours
	But instead

We fight till fists turn red
Fuck until the bed becomes wet
Shut out the screams until one becomes weak
Are we meant to be? ….

	To be continued.

I don't quite know what to say. But I really wanted to comment. This piece is nothing short of stunning. It's engaging and heart ripping and I feel your words. Keep writing. Your good. I'm sorry that ur a poet. Poets are all broken. But thank you for writing. It gives me something too feel.
