A SPECIAL PLACE IN HELL

poem by: Reeves
Written on Feb 06, 2019

Without any sort of plan, an also-ran,
my inconsideration is paramount,
but at least everything is reserved,
and we will get what we deserved.

Perhaps he should have been more gracious,
instead of being so audacious,
what can you expect from insensitivity?
only hearsay, a theory of relativity.

Everything comes to those who wait,
a curiosity - we' ll hang him in the Tate,
then we can witness a fool in history,
something missing from his inventory.

when he's standing in that fiery inferno,
he'll realize that he was beaten by a greater foe.

I suppose this could be about anyone, but the Tate reference intrigues me. Charles Manson?

what is the definition of "the Tate" because when I looked it up it was a reference to a type of person not a place.

'The Tate' is the national gallery and the suggestion is that Donald Tusk should be 'hung' there as an example of his intransigence.
