Your name is depression

You can't leave, can you?
You’re like a shadow.
I can't seem to be rid of you,
You grab more ammo.
Because you know what you are,
You’re nothing but a gun.
Loaded and ready to fire at me,
Please just let me free.
You've built a fence around me,
Making me nervous and shy.
But this is your game, isn't it?
Making me wanna die.
I feel like I'm drowning when you’re here,
I need to breathe.
But if I do I’ll drown,
I don't want to leave.
Please just let me go,
I can't be here with you anymore.
Everything feels numb,
Everything feels poor.
But as you sit in front me,
You seem to hate it too.
You hover like a bird,
I fucking hate you.
I'm sick of this feeling,
When will this end?
Your name is Depression,
And you are my only friend.
