Yeti with confetti

poem by: Andrew Shepherd
Written on Jan 21, 2019

I saw a yeti playing with confetti
Prancing around like a beautiful bride
Which was really very unusual
Because they usually run and hide
It tiptoed over pavements
And pirouetted through the air
This yeti has plenty of guts
He just doesn’t seem to care
Pretty colours make him smile
As they drift peacefully on the air
Entranced by their pastel shades
When they drop into his hair
I wonder if the yeti will stay here
Or will he turn away and run
Whatever he decides to do though
Will be good and lots of fun

This was quite enjoyable. Light and fantasy laden. Terrific!
