THE DEVIL AND I

poem by: Reeves
Written on Jan 20, 2019

He came to me, said he was the devil, I said:
'No you're not, I am,' stunned, he was easily led;
I guided him to places where he could not escape,
he even gave up smoking and started to vape.

What a pathetic creature he was, the fallen angel,
all the way from hades, a derelict from hell;
he said: 'Who are you?' I said: 'Someone better than you,
or shall we say worse, old-fashioned, ormilou.'

I am a master of my trade, see the Brexit confusion,
magnificent, wonderful, enough to give Farage a contusion;
but don't worry folks, I'm changing all the sides,
I'm taing advice, at last, from the spiritual guides.

I'm with you, nastiness is all over, let's get together,
look forward to when we get rid of this bloody weather.
