Stoned-Out Hard-Love

So you say you're concrete, that you can't come apart,
Well, all I can do is bleed, red springs from my heart,

Your mask of cement must be heavy and cold,
Adorned with my love, blood spatters your mold,

My body grinds churned slag through to your pavement,
With seismic ardor, we meld different wave lengths,

"Beautiful bitumen!" I bellow out of breath,
Overlooking the heaps of my shredded flesh,

Tough tarmac, tender tissue,
Solid slab, soft sinew,

Amalgamate,
Aggregate,
Avalanche,

I was falling for you again,
All over,

Shame,
I'm not into rock,
Bricks,
Or mortar.
