When you find someone with more experience than you
Who can make you laugh
Whose words life you up and dwell in your mind
A person with scars
Someone who is flawed
Someone almost like you
Listen, learn, for the best mentor you can have than one who speaks as a parent to their child
For thick ‘n thin, to laugh and to cry
Oh yes, no better a mentor than they
