Traces

You're everywhere,
Traces of you have settled in the dust,
Did you know there's nothing more deceiving than trust?
On the brink of loosing us, surrounded in the debris of your touch,
nothing has ever quite meant this much.
The price you pay when you fall out of love.

Was everything not enough?

Tracing the indents in my skin
Left during nights I was the Happiest I've ever been
Now I don't feel a thing
let's see what the night will bring
Memories of you i'll indulge in the sting
Soon I will be free of you and my fears,
Did you know our cells replace themselves every seven years?
Not everything is as permanent as it appears, the storm always clears

Just like my body will erase the indents you left
My mind will find peace and the loss i'll accept.
