WHEN THE SHADOWS FALL

poem by: Tara Marie
Written on Aug 27, 2018

The beginning has just begun. As the thought comes to mind. Its resting time. Believe me. We’ll want not to run.

This series of events. Make it seem we’re in the past. But we are surely in the present. So please don’t dare ask.

There’s no where. Nowhere to lay. Let's just close our eyes. Don’t worry. He's here to stay.

He's not going anywhere. He's always right here by our side.

There’s more to me and more to you. Where blood is not needed. No need for a heart to beat. I promise. This is the truth.

Knowing is all we have. Wisdom is the way. Leading us. To our eternal home. On our eternal path. Never feeling sad. It's where we sit and where we pray.

All together. Only here for a few short moments. Is how it seems. As life is nothing but a dream. But it's more. A lot more than it seems.

You see living is a promise we’ve been asked to keep. Well before we took our first breath. Filling our lungs so deep.

This is the last chapter. Last chapter of this book. So many pages. Pages has been written. A whole lifetime it has took.

Now is the time to bring it to a close. Our master is beckoning. The man who adheres to great makings. Giving freely. Where all is there for the taking of many things.

Our essence is no longer, no longer time. It’s much more than that. It consists of everything. All the smiles and the laughs. Yes even the tears and the cries. That add up to what once was our present, future and past.

We must let go of our worldly desires. If we want to reach the realms that are are going to take us higher.
