Fractured Heart

poem by: Chel Scott
Written on Aug 22, 2018

Take the pain
til it hurts no more,
thats what I tell myself.
Which piece of you heart
do you follow,
when its broken into a million pieces?
I feel the loss of your touch,
the absence of your kiss.
You have left my world
and my broken heart
so very empty.
It's a void nothing can fill.
Take just one look back,
wipe away my tears,
and fix my fractured heart.
