Have You Ever

poem by: Chel Scott

Have you ever seen the moon reflect,
like diamonds on the sea?
Or heard a new born baby's cry?
These are miracles to me.
Ever seen the warm sun fight,
to keep the night at bay?
Heard the birds greet the morn?
As this is natures way.
Have you ever heard the waves,
or smelled a sweet, red rose?
Given birth or raised a child,
nurtured him as he grows?
The world is full of miracles,
of awe and beauty to see,
we all pale in significance,
I breath it deep within me.
