Our Secret Place

poem by: Chel Scott
Written on Aug 16, 2018

Concentrate. Close your eyes,
allow your soul to drift the skies,
when you're there, think of me,
tell no one else of what you see.

It will take you up, calm you down,
help you turn your world around,
take deep breaths, count to ten,
and when you're ready, start again.

Then open your eyes, see my face,
help me get to your secret place,
I don't want to find a place of my own,
because I'm scared to death of being alone.
