Butterfly

poem by: Chel Scott
Written on Aug 12, 2018

The wings of a butterfly,
so colourful, delicate.
I watch the sun reflecting,
blues, yellows, brilliant whites.
Gliding, arching, swaying,
caught on a summer breeze.
Twirling, swirling, curling,
what a dazzling sight.
So dainty, fragile,
the wings of a butterfly.
