Tradition

poem by: Chris Newman
Written on Apr 28, 2018

 I am the living God
With what do I need your tradition?
Have I not offered you my fellowship?
Therefore prepare for adversity
The leaders of this nation have done foolishly
They have rejected life and chosen man's wisdom
They have believed in Evolution
They have rejected my Sabbath
They have sanctioned immorality
legalized prostitution
legalized homosexual practise
legalized the murder of the unborn
Oppressed the poor
No civilization that leaves my law shall last for ever
Nor shall this one

I am the Living God
With what do I want your tradition
Have I not offered my fellowship
Therefore prepare for adversity
Be patient and faithful and I will give you the crown of life.
