LOST CHILDHOOD

poem by: Dinesh Chauhan
Written on Mar 27, 2018

I am nearly seventeen
And really so mean
Where is my childhood?
Somewhere lost in the big wood
I feel so uncomfortable
Somewhere unstable.

I am afraid I am not a child anymore
As I have lost my best toy store
Now I am independent
As I am a descendant
But in a difficult situation
Will I be able to
I might be in the false expectation
But will soon realize it wasn't true.
