Life took me
Life took me by the byways, I thought I'll never follow...
My most desired dreams, my hopes, did not come true...
Made me see real picture, that can be hard to swallow...
I learned compassion , mercy and gratefulness for sure.
Thank God, He didn't answer some of my deepest prayers
Only He, really knew what would be best answers for me...
Life on earth is somewhat complicated, it has so many layers
It is mysterious, full of surprises, only God can truly see.
I learned to be content in small things, I don't need no riches.
Roof over my head, warm bed, my family, few close friends...
Life can be hard, but I am thankful, sometimes I count nickles,
But that's OK, I have mansion in heaven, and life without end.
