I KISS A BUTTERFLY

poem by: Fadrian Bartley
Written on Feb 06, 2018

I once saw a butterfly
With attractive expression
Lovely and persuasive
It flew around the environment
A message
That I may have it follow
Like a hunter to the hunted
I finally capture the heart of the butterfly
And this is the first time I ever kiss a butterfly
In the presence of others
And there I saw fist rolls out of their hate
Because it was said men
Do not kiss butterflies
