An Ode to Me
I'm tired of fixing me,
I'm tired of changing me,
To comply to standards,
Of looking at me faults,
Of finding my own way
and of loving others,
of being alone in a world
that a me can hide and be hidden.
That me can be lost and forgotten
like chaff blown in the wind.
When is it time to be me?
When is it all right to be me?
When can me finally breathe,
And live?
Today...I'm giving Me a chance
to love, to cherish, to obey...me.
Just me. Only me.
Because me and only me
deserve to be loved;
For me and only me
to learn that there is peace;
And that me, only me
can live a life of me;
A me free, me hopes, me dreams.
Me...Yes.
Me!!!
The Immortal, the Eternal
The Only, the Forever,
Me. Imagine it...
