The view from my bed

'The view from my bed'

The view from my bed
As pain pours through my head
Vision is blurred
Voices are slurred

The pillows feel hard
My view of things marred
As night turns to day
Can't shift my dismay

I toss and I turn
But the view starts to burn
No rest or a break
From this pain do I take

Don't see out the window
Can't stand any light
Lie here unmoving
Till day turns to night

Sick of this feeling
I can't move my head
Wish I could stop watching
The view from my bed
