The Storm

poem by: Ann Sdono
Written on Sep 18, 2016

I found my voice.
It's here in these words.
I can yell loud,
no one will hear.
This is my secret and it makes me smile.

I can be me.
It's so good to be free.
I have no fear,
I can put it right here.
With no interruptions,
or empty blank stares.

So come if you wish,
but please be warned,
there is no protection
in the eye of my storm.
