Hellbound

poem by: Theresa Taylor
Written on Aug 11, 2016

Staring straight into the eyes of your whimpering tragedy
You're dead inside and buried up to your neck now
Swirling in the ashes of every truth
It's so beautifully pitiful to watch you choke
Such a fool-hearted man, little do you know
As we walk I strip you down til naked, and not for lust
Exposing what should have been obvious
Opportunist at your best, Lover at your worst
Don't expect me to be your personal Jesus
Lying to my face and yourself again
You're chiseling a fragile fault line
Suicidal Imbecile
Deceivers like you enjoy all the horrific layers of Hell
