Paper Thin

poem by: Theresa Taylor
Written on Aug 11, 2016

Presented you with the poem of my heart
Let you read it end to start
Imagine my horror when your fingers slipped
Hearing the sound of rip-rip-rip
Lifeless confetti on the ground
My world spinning, a panicked Merry-Go-Round
Tape, glue, medicine, magic
It's no use, it's broken, that's it
