it always starts, it always ends

It always starts this way...
The touch of their voice makes your heart sway
So excited and amused just to be next to each other
To accidentally brush against one another
It startles your pulse and sparkles in your neurons
It always ends this way...
The calls and texts don't come every day
Sometimes you wonder why you even bother
Sex doesn't feel as prime as pulling up the covers
You wonder if the rest of the population could be better this moron
