The Final

poem by: Tony Anderson
Written on Jul 25, 2016

I am the final D.J. cool, handsome, and clean
Able to play my albums with ease
I am the final cowboy the last of my breed
Riding on horseback in the cool summer breeze
I am the final captain or pirate maybe
Sailing my ship all over the seas
I am the final spaceship commander
Exploring places unknown going to the end of the universe and coming back home
I am the final child still lying in bed
Trying to prepare for the harsh reality ahead
