Exit the Executioner's Exhilerating Exoneration

I've said that five word Phrase, and on my brain-screen stays,
an imprint of those words, that might be FOR THE BIRDS!!
Do we need throw out best, to return our selves to test?
Can we be all to blame, for what happens at ignition of flame?
There are many questions left, I ache to resolve each cleft.
By the Rock, I remain steadly fast, but as I crawl, I wish I could last.
Crawling, you see, is the start, it is where we must land in our heart.
Prey tell, I misspell, as I run far from hell, even those who disclose,
may not smell like a rose, wherever and whenever looking toward earth,
In Space , you'll remember, Not the Site of YOUR birth.

So gravely injured is our pride, that now we're sad we've testified,
But still on wind, our moments glide, with Jesus Christ, the Crucified.
But dead and buried, is no more, Because He's evened up the score.
Four and twenty, Seven times Seven, four score left the way to Heaven,
May be toggled at the sight of those whose minds are full of lite.

Because I riddle, play, find the joy, in little things as a little boy,
I may be exonerated, set free, some day, to help the others learn to play.
Not that I have it all planned out, I couldn't cry without a doubt.
But tears will flow from time to time, as the morning comes, when I believe it's mine.
But the trouble I have with that, my friend, is that YOU and yours are
at the other end. The line isn't busy, but you're not there,
You are probably outstanding in your evening chair.
Or perhaps you haven't had enough time to prepare, for
the gap that you left when we were both STANDING THERE!
I left a gap too, it may have been the same one,
Or, it may indeed be that Some are jumping the gun.
In either case, My ammunition seems lost, for I am not willing to
shoot with ammunition at cost, of the many who are sure they're being bossed,
but not BOSS. So let it be that they may see what follows up next,
That priority, should not ignore a key to finding out who isn't vexed.

Phew, we made, I feel stronger for the sharing, Hope lives,
Praising God isn't as simple as just acknowledging what He gives,
It's more about acknowledging, that we need desperately His and His own will,
To be Specific, His Son's all Too Terrific sacrifice and blood "Spill"
Now, power in the spirit is fine for Who hears it, and there's certainly a
place He calls Holy, But, then again, I must say to ya, bud,
there's a power in the blood, that none on earth can dare touch
without Wholly, giving in to the giving and forgiveness that's living in each,
in whom He has prepared for the "Flood"

Now , I'm not talking NOAH, nor Rocky Balboa, Seen enough of that
except the desire. But I sure til the end It would be awesome, my Friend,
if we keep our Heart's lit with His fire.

Horace Edmunds commented:
To those it may concern: This work, foreshadowed by a need to purge "creatively" may spawn other works if I can find the key to the ingnision..(mispelling intended:) But only because it rhymes better with derision, Which there (key word) "Seems" to be more an abundance of in the sandbox of "life" of course, there's always the opinion that this is offset by the existence of a search engine named "Dogpile" Ha Ha Ha Ha.. I believe this can be filed under "D" to found only in "The Twilight Zone" All credit given to Rod Serling. By the way: Has anyone noticed: The circle of redundancy has increased and this may be found if you watch for it on channel 208 if you have (c) Comcast cable. It airs consistently with the new schedule for said station. Also of some interest, may be The Night Gallery, both of which come highly recommended by yours truly.... Horace Edmunds. comment: I meant to put this on my blog page, but I lost it in the shuffle. My apologies...for what they're worth.

Along life's dim lit pathway, left to chance or left to choice, we always hear one calling, saying, listen to my voice... Throughout the time we spend here, we're doomed to join the chase, but climbing out, we look about, an... Read more
