Wristwatch Wishes

poem by: Theresa Taylor
Written on Jul 13, 2016

I can't concentrate, I keep thinking about your watch
I can hear it tick-tick-ticking as I melt into this bottle of scotch
Oh what I would do if I could spin those hands of time!
Change everything, change the plot line
Make it so you had met me instead of her
Happily swap our ex's for each other!
I'd put our broken hearts back together
As if they were never betrayed or shattered and I'd pair them off forever

I can relate to your poem Theresa. Take it easy on the scotch though, moderation is good.
