Girl, you gave him a lot of chances 
But he threw them all away 
His heart was never into you 
He broke your poor heart in two 
There was nothing but frustration and pain 
Simply nothing for you to gain 
You kept all the bitterness inside 
And constantly hid behind a wall of pride
