Heartache

poem by: Cassie Wagmeister
Written on Mar 19, 2013

Do you know what it is like?
To be hurt by someone who is supposed to love you?
It hurts more than falling off a bike.
It burns more.
Then hell on a hot summer night.
Oh my heart.
Oh how it aches.
Like my heart is being...
My heart is being staked.
To say I'm fine?
I would be a total fake.
The pain...
The pain is deeper than any great lake.
You raked down my emotions.
Again and again...
You took a stake
And you plundged it into my heart.
Why?
Why should I forgive you?

Forgive yourself Cassie, for getting mixed up with this person, but never forget. As soon as you forgive this person, they will do it again and again and you will waste your time trying to forgive again and again.
