sunshine

poem by: Virgil Brown

Thank you for the sunshine
The beauty of the Palm trees
As they sway like their dancing
Across the floor
The creatures that God made
Without sunshine there would
Be total darkness
I can't imagine no sunshine
Their be line after line of darkness
Corruption on every corner
Without sunshine were would
We be no light to shine
Our minds would float off the page
With rage and anger
Sunshine
Water and sunshine are needed
For nourishment to grow
Can you image no light
Physically and spiritually
We need light and air to breathe
We need sunshine to wipe away
The darkness and the fiery darts
The enemy throws
The word of truth
Brings sunshine to eradicate
 the darkness that the enemy
Confronts us with

Sunshine
