i owe him

I owe him

How could I ever repay you
For the chance you have given me
When you stirred up heart
Our relationship shall never part

For the shedding of your blood
We were like sheep for the slaughter
But you covered us with
the shedding of blood

Even though we all
Have sinned and fallen
Short of the glory of God
You Died for us

They mocked you
Talked about you
Called you king of worms
But you kept your peace
Through all the
Persecution you
Finished the task at hand

Now stand tall
If you should fall
Get back up
And stand on
Your own two feet
With the help of god
The sacrifice he made
Can never be redone
The battles won
I owe him
