I thought you said you loved me I thought you said you would never leave You said you cared But that all left You stopped talking to me I don't understand How could i? You would always compliment me But i guess you never meant it Sometimes you make me wonder Some people thought they understood But they never did You could never explain what you said Now i see why

I think he means that your questioning why this has happened with all that you were told. what has happened to you you don't feel it makes any sense and its left un explained so you left without all your questions answered hope this helps :0)
